Didi says we used to have homemade blackcurrant jam, so this is presumably the recipe but she says she might be bluffing (?!).
Method
Put fruit and water in the pan and boil for 20 mins.
Add the sugar and let is dissolve over the heat. Then boil for another 20 mins.
Ingredients
3 lb blackcurrants
6 lb sugar
1 quart of water (1 quart is 2 pints)
